Paramount Plus Schedule December 25-31: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Paramount Plus‘s new TV and movie releases for December 25-31 include the Owen Wilson and Lake Bell thriller No Escape.

On December 26, viewers can catch Owen Wilson and Lake Bell’s No Escape via Showtime, an action thriller film that tells the story of an expat engineer trapped in an unidentified country in Southeast Asia with his family due to a violent uprising. This forces them to look for a safe place in a country where foreigners are executed on sight. Also starring in this film are Pierce Brosnan, Sterling Jerins, Claire Geare, Sahajak Boonthanakit, and Thanawut Ketsaro. The film is directed by John Erick Dowdle who is best known for his work on films such as As Above So Below, Quarantine, and Devil and also directed 4 episodes of the TV miniseries Waco and 2 episodes of the neo-Western crime-drama series Joe Pickett.

Other releases for Paramount Plus during the December 25 to December 31 week include The 46th Annual Kennedy Center Hours, which will see the selection of five honorees for the reception of the 46th Kennedy Center Hours for lifetime artistic achievements, with the honorees for this year including comic Billy Crystal, soprano Renee Fleming, singer-songwriter Barry Gibb, actress Queen Latifah, and singer Dionne Warwick. The show will be hosted by Gloria Estefan.

Also during this week, viewers can catch New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, which will consist of a series of performances to celebrate the coming New Year. The performers for this year will include Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, and Elle King.
