All games or products received are sent to us for review consideration, which means we reserve the right not to review a product depending on several factors, including how much attention your game or product is receiving and what proximity your game or product is sent to us in correlation to the embargo or release date. We strictly agree and adhere to all embargoes set forth by publishers or product manufacturers.

ComingSoon Review Scores & What They Mean

10 – Masterpiece

This is the rare release that transcends genre and must be experienced by all fans of the medium.

9 – Excellent

Entertainment that reaches this level is at the top of its type. The gold standard that every creator aims to reach.

8 – Great

While there are a few minor issues, this score means that the art succeeds at its goal and leaves a memorable impact.

7 – Good

A successful piece of entertainment that is worth checking out, but it may not appeal to everyone.

6 – Decent

It fails to reach its full potential and is a run-of-the-mill experience.

5 – Mediocre

The positives and negatives wind up negating each other, making it a wash.

4 – Poor

The negatives outweigh the positive aspects making it a struggle to get through.

3 – Bad

Due to significant issues, this media feels like a chore to take in.

2 – Terrible

Almost irredeemable, it is likely a waste of time for almost everyone involved.

1 – Awful

ComingSoon doesn’t enjoy giving out an awful rating, and it’s generally reserved for video games that are broken or entertainment that is devoid of any redeeming qualities.
