Bianca Belair Returns to Action on Smackdown

Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is set to make a triumphant return to the ring this week on SmackDown.

In last week’s edition of SmackDown, the Women’s Championship was on the line as IYO Sky defended her title against Michin. Sky emerged victorious, securing the win with a spectacular moonsault. Following the match, as IYO was backstage, she was joined by members of Damage CTRL Bayley, Kai, and others for a celebration.

Amid the celebration, a confident IYO declares that her championship reign will never end. Bayley predicts success for the Kabuki Warriors in the tag division, while Kai foresees Bayley winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Rhea Ripley for her title.

However, Bianca Belair interrupts Damage CTRL’s celebration, announcing her entry into the Royal Rumble and boldly stating her intention to win it for the second time, which will end the IYO era. Tensions rise as Dakota Kai asserts that Bayley must deal with Bianca as the leader of Damage CTRL.

After the confrontation, it was announced that Bianca Belair is scheduled to compete this week on SmackDown against Bayley, the leader of Damage CTRL, on January 12, 2024.

Belair is set to make a triumphant return to the ring after her last singles bout, which was against Damage CTRL member Kairi Sane on the 1st December edition of Smackdown. She intends to make her mark by entering and winning the Royal Rumble, with the ultimate goal of ending IYO’s era as the Women’s Champion.

Bayley sends message to Bianca Belair ahead of their SmackDown bout

After the recent confrontation between Bianca Belair and members of Damage CTRL on the latest episode of SmackDown, her upcoming opponent, Bayley, has delivered a message to the former RAW Women’s Champion.

Following Smackdown, Bianca Belair took to her Instagram to assert her ambitions for the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. She boldly claimed that she aims to make history by becoming the first woman to win the match.

In response to Belair’s proclamation, Bayley dismissed it by stating, “Your stupid quotes don’t scare me.”

Belair won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match in 2021. Subsequently, she defeated former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Title in the main event of WrestleMania 37 Night One. As for Bayley, she is determined to secure a victory, and speculation is running wild that she is the favorite to win this year’s Rumble.

It will be interesting to see what unfolds this week on SmackDown between Bayley and Bianca Belair.
