Baby Shark’s Big Movie Release Date Set for Paramount+

Paramount has officially set the Baby Shark’s Big Movie release date, confirming when the film will arrive on the Paramount+ streaming platform in a new trailer.

The new film, which is based on the beloved preschool property, will release on both Nickelodeon and Paramount+ on December 8, 2023, at 12 p.m. ET. The film will be available in the U.S. and Canada at first, before arriving in additional international markets in 2024, according to the company.

A new trailer for the film was also released, previewing the adventure that Baby Shark must go on as he and his family move into a big city and he must adjust to his new surroundings. Alongside the trailer and release date, Paramount also confirmed that the soundtrack for the film will also be available on December 8, 2023 and will feature music composed by Jon Chau.

Who is in Baby Shark’s Big Movie?

Baby Shark’s Big Movie will feature a star-studded cast of voice actors, including Kimiko Glenn as Baby Shark, Luke Youngblood as William, Natasha Rothwell as Mommy Shark, Eric Edelstein as Daddy Shark, Debra Wilson as Grandma Shark, and Patrick Warburton as Grandpa Shark.

Grammy-winner Cardi B will also return as Sharki B, and her family, including Offset as Offshark, Kulture as Kulture Sharki, and Wave as Wavey Shark, will also be in the film. Other guest voice actors in the film will include Ashley Tisdale, Aparna Nancherla, Ego Nwodim, Chloe Fineman, and Lance Bass.

“In Baby Shark’s Big Movie, Baby Shark is forced to leave behind the world he loves after his family’s move to the big city and must adjust to his new life without his best friend William,” reads the official synopsis of the film. “When Baby Shark encounters an evil pop starfish named Stariana, who plans to steal his gift of song in order to dominate all underwater music, he must break her spell to restore harmony to the seas.”
